Currently, I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in Business and I plan to graduate May 2024. As a team player, I hope to transition some of the skills I have learned to an entry level position. Specifically, my leadership, problem solving and teamwork experience from my experience at 3 Point Partners (3PP). As a Communications Intern, I drafted various press releases, copy edited various documents, and assisted in strategy planning sessions for different Communications and Government Relations teams. Throughout my time at 3PP, I have learned about crisis management PR, media publicity and advocating for a client to different political and community leaders. I also completed an internship at Elizabeth Christian Public Relations firm where I helped locate and cut media before it was distributed to the media, as well as design logos and brands for pitches. I also attended meetings and workshops on behalf of the firm as their representative. I assisted the CEO with her daily appointments and recruiting of new clients, while still completing work from some of the 27 pre-existing clients. My past experiences show my ability to handle responsibility and operate within an environment that requires communicating with and balancing the interests of an entire team. I have educational and professional experience and understand the impact of internal and external communication expertise.
