Twenty years of varied editing, copywriting, and communications experience, including more than five years as a spokeswoman—for a Congressman, Governor, and a major political nonprofit and super PAC. High-level communications experience includes extensive writing and editing (op-eds, speeches, press releases, statements, reports, radio addresses, book reviews); media and outreach event planning; relationship-building with members of the media at the local, state, and national level; pitching stories to the media and setting up interviews for elected officials; and mentorship of young professionals entering the field of public affairs or political communications.
