Dear Hiring Manager, Thank you for the opportunity to apply for a position with your company. Based on my experience, education, and skill set, I am well-suited to contribute to the organization's success. I am convinced that consistent and diligent hard work is crucial for developing a strong sense of self-worth and ultimately responsible for one's success. As I strive to set a strong example for my three children, my determination to succeed is grounded in my faith, driven by a desire to exemplify a life of purpose unequivocally defined by God. Throughout my 12-year career, I worked as a medical device representative within several companies, including AstraZeneca, Watson Pharmaceuticals, and BD Diagnostics. I readily demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities in every aspect of my role, which led to consistent advancement and expeditious success throughout my career. I chose to step away from the industry shortly after my second daughter was born to take on the challenge of being a mother, the most demanding and significant decision of my life. Since putting aside my professional role, I have been consistently praised as proactive, diligent, driven, highly self-motivated, selfless, and approachable by everyone who knows me. While raising my children at home, I continued developing prevalent skills through leadership and service opportunities, including coaching basketball, stewardship roles in women's and children's church ministry, as well as serving as an elected delegate for the Colorado Republican State and Congressional Assembly and now as Douglas County Young Republicans Secretary. I believe our constitution was founded on biblical principles. However, moral relativism poses a substantial threat to our nation's values. I concur with C. S. Lewis' claim, which he recognized years ago, that subjectivism is poisoning our culture and fostering a generation that rejects moral absolutism. I believe our constitutional liberties are in grave jeopardy of extinction because of the government's self-conferred power, through which their continued sanctioning of legal plunder has become socially permissible. As a Christian, Republican, American, and mother of three children, I believe it is our responsibility to defend our God-given liberties against any threat. For over 20 years, my father served as an Air Force physician, eventually retiring as a Colonel. Growing up in a military family has been a great honor for me. Like my father, I was also nominated by multiple state representatives and accepted into the Air Force Academy. I chose instead to attend Westmont College, a small Christian college in Montecito, California, where I graduated in 2000 with a B. S. in Kinesiology and Psychology. I completed my paralegal I & II certification through Metro State in 2021 and am completing a Juris master's degree at Liberty University this summer with a 3.89 GPA. I invite you to review my detailed achievements in the attached resume. After appraising my work experience, educational background, and specialized skills, I hope you will agree that I am the competent and competitive candidate you seek. I look forward to elaborating on how my abilities will benefit your organization. Please contact me at (805)707-3000 or via email at amycrow0122@gmail.com to arrange a convenient meeting time. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Amy Ellis
