Anything else?

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my interest in any available staff positions within Republican offices, committees, think tanks, or lobbying groups that align with my background in legislative policy, front office operations, and constituent services. With experience at the state, federal, and international levels, I am eager to bring my administrative, research, and communication skills to a team dedicated to advancing conservative values and delivering results for the American people. Currently, I serve as a Legislative Aide and Assistant Clerk for Chairman James B. Frank in the Texas House of Representatives. In this role, I conduct policy research, meet with interest groups, and draft legislative language—particularly on antitrust issues (HB 2747), jurisdictional questions (HB 2337), and healthcare pricing transparency (HB 1959). I prepare comprehensive briefing materials and one-pagers to advise Chairman Frank on key policy areas, analyze legislation, and offer strategic recommendations during committee hearings. I also manage the office’s legislative workflow, from tracking bill progress and filing hearing requests to coordinating stakeholder engagement. Beyond policy, I thrive in the operational side of public service. I have managed data systems, drafted website content, organized records, and am highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legislative tracking tools. I take pride in keeping an office running efficiently, responding to inquiries with professionalism, and maintaining the discretion and attention to detail required in a high-stakes environment. My previous congressional internship with an appropriator’s office on Capitol Hill further shaped my understanding of the fast-paced nature of federal service. There, I supported front office operations, assisted with casework, and helped coordinate tours and meetings for constituents. I understand the importance of professionalism, good judgment, and political awareness when serving Members of Congress and their districts. I am deeply committed to public service and excited by the opportunity to return to Washington in support of a Republican Member, Committee, or organization. Thank you for considering my application—I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team’s goals. Sincerely, Alexander M. Volpe
