The VP of Political Influencer Marketing will manage a team of Account Managers and support the success of full-cycle client campaigns and insights projects. The right person has diverse experience in a variety of industries including politics, communications/influencer marketing, and research & insights.
To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable working cross-department members of executive teams to strategize and design campaign solutions for Republican political clients. You must be incredibly organized, strategic, self driven, love to think outside of the box, a political messaging savant, and an exceptional leader as well as team member.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
- An experienced professional with 6-10 years in social media/ influencer marketing and, a huge plus if you’ve worked in political campaigns
- Minimum of 3 years in team and client management positions with a proven track record of designing and executing effective influencer marketing campaigns
- Skilled at building strategic and creative pitches that attract diverse clients and communicate complex concepts/models
- Politically sharp; able to understand the needs and motivations of voters and the Republican party and conceptualize campaign ideas and messaging quickly
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking, and strong diplomatic skills
- Seasoned judgment, able to justify recommendations, and be responsive, clear and firm with partners
- Deep knowledge and understanding of creator economy, social media ecosystems, online community platforms and behaviors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that connects with diverse audiences, including high-level executives, politicians, political operatives, and influencers across multiple genres
- A Google Suite + Microsoft Office Pro (Powerpoint, G-Docs, G-Slides, G-Sheets, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, flexibility, and assume high accountability for all areas of responsibility
- Actively works to stay current on news in the US and world, from policy and politicians, to social media trends
- Is passionate about preserving Democracy and is civically engaged
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and support junior staff if needed

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Strategic Partnerships team, executives and partners to design strategic influencer campaigns that help us win new accounts and/or secure returning clients
- Develop and lead influencer strategies to enhance conservative campaigns and drive voter action
- Lead client management from strategic planning, creative ideation, campaign design + delivery to presentation of final metrics reports and recommendations
- Oversee and lead team of Account Managers and support day-to-day communication, negotiation, and collaboration with influences to meet campaign objectives and timeline
- Maintain relationships with political campaign teams, leaders, and other key stakeholders for the Republican party
- Responsible for the quality control of campaign/program deliverables and ensuring KPIs are met on time and on budget
- Responsible for compiling portions of presentations, departmental POVs, agency materials and influencer communications
- Responsible for working with Switchgrass Data Team to collect, analyze and aggregate program reporting to clients; making recommendations and optimizations based on insights
- Throughout program management, adhere to established workflow and processes, and ensure true integration from planning to reporting
- Collaborate cross-department to innovate and elevate agency processes
- Implement research and insights methods (surveys, focus groups, panels, etc.) for client insights projects
- Research and become an expert in candidates, issues, and messaging for each potential/active project
