The Job:

We are looking for a Media Planner with the ability to see the big picture and work with our Political and Brand team to develop keen concepts that exceed client objectives and expectations while engaging others. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Independently execute the placement for paid Google Adwords, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn ad campaigns including display, video and search.
  • Create easy to read metrics reports of these campaigns
  • Help strategize placement campaigns that make the most impact with our client’s budget
  • Design the best strategic approach and channel mix in to reach audiences in a relevant manner
  • Work with placement agencies for TV, cable, satellite, print, outdoor and radio
  • Interpret metrics reports from placement agencies
  • Stay up to date on recent buying trends, one-off opportunities and technology


  • 2+ years of experience in a media planning role
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort with presenting to clients and Executive leadership
  • Ability and willingness to negotiate with media partners and agencies to get competitive rates and makegoods
  • Well versed in working with traditional and nontraditional media
  • Political experience is preferred, or the ability to understand the political landscape and set ad strategy aimed at voter persuasion
  • Understanding of paid, earned and owned channels and the production timelines and approvals of each
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to execute deadlines
