Political Strategist

Political Strategists serve as one of the primary point of contacts for campaigns and manage the day-to-day strategy and execution of the services ColdSpark provides. Strategist interface with partners, department heads, and departmental resources to deliver high quality results for political clients.

Candidates should have previous campaign experience, a proven track record for managing client relationships, and an understanding of both digital and traditional campaign strategies. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable writing campaign budgets and copywriting.

What being a strategist entails:

• Maintain client relationships and ensure client happiness
• Manage day-to-day campaign communication
• Work with the Partner on executing campaign strategy
• Draft copy for mail, digital, and strategic communication efforts
• Work with the creative and digital teams to hit deadlines and deliver top-quality content
• Internal research for clients and race monitoring
• Manage internal budget tracking for clients
• Campaign vendor management
• Assist team with Business Development leads and prospecting

Qualifications:

• 4-6+ years of campaign experience
• Strong writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills via phone, text, e-mail, slack
