  • Manage research, campaign messaging, and overall campaign metrics for success.
  • Draft and edit press materials, including press releases, op-eds, and statements.

  • Work with a team to develop creative and eye-catching campaign messaging and collateral.
  • Maintain a steady pulse on labor news and related media.

What We Would Like to See:

  • Understanding of labor policy and ability to effectively communicate messaging on labor issues both written and oral.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective messaging on often-complex topics.
  • Desire to push the envelope and come up with creative and eye-catching ways to further our messaging.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects at once.
  • Experience developing press materials (press releases, op-eds, written statements, pitches, etc.).
  • Comfortable managing high-profile issue-advocacy campaigns, including going on the record with campaign messaging.

Ways to Stand Out:

  • Demonstrated understanding and interest in the subject matter.
  • Existing media contacts and experience working closely with the press on labor issues.
  • Experience developing effective social media content.
  • Experience going on the record to discuss labor-related issues.
  • Passion for free markets.
