FRI interns will work standard work hours from 9:00am – 5:00pm with the occasional exceptions for staffing events and aiding in special projects. Interns will assist four members of the FRI team in tasks ranging from data entry to helping staff/set up for receptions. Interns will work directly with FRI staff on projects along with Washington, DC lobbyists, Congressional staff and members of Congress. The internship role is dynamic with each day bringing a new set of responsibilities and tasks.

Overview:
FRI strives for summer interns to learn as much as possible about Capitol Hill, fundraising, the campaigns process and the many elements it takes to achieve victory in a race. Half of the internship experience is what the intern themselves make it, and how interested they are in engaging with staff and office operations.
