Job description

The Position Responsibilities (in priority order)

1. Provide Strategic Guidance on Channel-Driven Marketing Plans Define metrics and KPIs needed to meet the campaign objectives laid out by the Strategist or Account Manager. Participate in selecting, developing, planning, and implementing targeted go-to-market plans to build awareness and generate and nurture leads from the sales and marketing funnel Advise Strategists as necessary during creation and sale of marketing plans.  

2. Optimize Performance of Channel-Driven Marketing Plans Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, making data-driven recommendations for continuous performance improvement and optimization. Utilize tools and platforms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, click-through rates, and ROI to provide actionable insights. Contribute to the development of testing strategies and conduct experiments to optimize digital campaigns and content. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data to make data-backed recommendations for optimizing campaigns.

3. Increase Viability of Audience First Marketing Plans Assist in the segmentation and profiling of audiences to improve targeting accuracy. Provide strategic guidance on content creation, distribution, and engagement strategies across digital channels. Work closely with Ad Ops to learn which plans are viable as written, which plans are not, and use that knowledge to improve future plans  

4. Advance Internal Digital Marketing Strategy Processes (channel-first) Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and analytics. Assist in building the Digital Marketing Strategy team for scalability and improved process.  

5. Grow Digital Marketplace Sales Notify Analytics Team of audiences that would be useful that they do not currently provide  

6. Educate and Inform  Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate insights, progress, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. Provide ad-hoc analysis and data-driven insights to support marketing decisions. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.  

7. Enhance Visibility and Relationships with Other Departments Collaborate with internal teams to create data-driven strategies and refine targeting and messaging.

Professional Background: 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, channel-driven marketing, or related fields. Ability to think strategically and provide guidance on developing effective marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Experience in audience segmentation, profiling, and targeting to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Experience in strategic planning, campaign management, and performance optimization. Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to diverse stakeholders. Strong project management skills that will be relevant to handling multiple projects and priorities. Pro-active, self-starter who is detail oriented while not losing sight of big-picture goals. Ability to adapt to changes in the digital marketplace and implement innovative strategies  

Personal Qualities Cultural fit with the company and its leaders. Self-starter willing to work and lead independently. Ability to work remotely. Comfortable with theories of quantitative and qualitative research but able to work outside of “book knowledge” and apply theories to real life. Proactive collaborator utilizing virtual tools. Desire to remain current on new data technologies and how they could augment the department Comfortable with numbers and data but also able to present complex visual information to non-technical individuals. Quick thinker who can adjust on the fly to ensure quality products are delivered in a timely manner. Highly detail oriented when it comes to numbers and data. Excellent verbal, written and visual communicator. Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally – and externally. Highly collaborative and able to work closely with other opinions.
