Digital Director

JCD Consulting is looking for a qualified Digital Director to assist with social media management, campaign and communications strategy, and graphic design work. Potential applicants should have an interest in politics, public affairs, government relations, and political campaigns.

Position salary will be determined based upon applicant’s experience.  Benefits will include a 401k plan after one year of service, health insurance reimbursement, vacation days, and occasional remote work.

Job Description:

  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies that meet client needs, including managing political and public affairs clients
  • Manage client relationships and be available to answer client questions and concerns
  • Work with other company staff to assist clients with their advertising plans
  • Develop digital strategy for campaign and public relations clients, including creating an individual written plan for each client
  • Manage digital pages for clients including making posts, finding content, creating content, and managing comments
  • Create graphic designs for social media posts and other client advertisements
  • Manage email campaigns for clients as necessary or needed
  • Assist team members and clients with communications help as needed, including writing press releases and developing media plans
  • Purchase domains and build and maintain websites for clients
  • Make ad buys for clients on digital platforms, television, radio, and print
  • Generate marketing performance reports for clients
  • Join regular conference calls with clients to discuss strategy and results
  • Manage the company’s social media, website, and advertising
  • Develop quarterly emails for the company to send out to clients and other potential customers
  • Keep team members aware of what you are working on and assist with client projects as needed
  • Develop relationships and strategies that can help lead to potential new business opportunities for the company
  • Perform any other task as prescribed by company management

Qualifications:

  • Social media management experience
  • Ad buying experience
  • Graphic design experience
  • Basic website building experience
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Google
  • Good writing, editing, and oral communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to receive and process constructive criticism on creative work
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to undertake multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize work, use good judgement, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and carry projects through to completion in a timely manner
  • Ability to work and think independently, a motivated self-starter who also works well in a larger team
  • Video editing and design skills in InDesign and Canva are a plus
  • Other skills in programs such as StackAdapt, Constant Contact, etc. are a plus
