Communications Director

A conservative member of Congress from Texas is currently accepting applications for a Communications Director in their Washington, D.C. office. Applicants should have experience pitching both national and local media, as well as managing digital content creation and media logistics. Texas ties are preferred but not required. Duties include but are not limited to:
•    Pitching national and local media
•    Drafting interview prep and talking points
•    Developing media strategy across platforms
•    Draft and send weekly newsletter and press releases
•    Managing a robust franked mail and constituent correspondence program
